RBI Money Market Operations: July 13, 2026

The Reserve Bank of India released its RBI money market operations data for July 13, 2026. The overnight segment recorded a total volume of ₹6,66,967.15 crore. Additionally, the weighted average rate stood at 5.20 percent, with rates ranging between 2.50 and 6.45 percent.

Key Details of RBI Money Market Operations

Call Money transactions accounted for ₹24,560.93 crore at a weighted average rate of 5.30 percent. Meanwhile, Triparty Repo dominated the overnight segment with ₹4,55,716.35 crore at 5.17 percent. Market Repo contributed ₹1,79,387.02 crore, while Repo in Corporate Bonds added ₹7,302.85 crore at 4.98 percent.

In the term segment, Notice Money stood at ₹152.80 crore. Term Money transactions totalled ₹255.00 crore, with rates ranging from 5.60 to 5.70 percent. Additionally, Triparty Repo in the term segment reached ₹9,735.00 crore at 5.26 percent. Market Repo in this segment was ₹282.00 crore at 5.40 percent.

RBI Liquidity Operations and Reserve Position

On the liquidity front, the RBI conducted Marginal Standing Facility (MSF) operations worth ₹5,964.00 crore at 5.50 percent. However, the Standing Deposit Facility (SDF) absorbed a much larger ₹1,55,296.00 crore at 5.00 percent. As a result, net liquidity absorbed from today’s operations reached ₹1,49,332.00 crore.

The Standing Liquidity Facility availed from RBI stood at ₹10,083.82 crore. Therefore, net liquidity from outstanding operations showed an injection of ₹10,083.82 crore. Overall, the net liquidity position, including today’s operations, reflected an absorption of ₹1,39,248.18 crore.

Scheduled commercial banks held cash balances of ₹7,72,285.55 crore with the RBI as on July 13, 2026. The average daily cash reserve requirement for the fortnight ending July 15, 2026 was ₹7,98,115.00 crore. Meanwhile, the Government of India’s surplus cash balance was nil on this date. Net durable liquidity, as on June 15, 2026, stood at a surplus of ₹4,82,130.00 crore.
